Respondents are asked to consider two questions about their lifestyles in Nepal with reference to these items: “Are your experiences and behaviors similar to those of people from your country of origin (conationals)?” and “Are your experiences and behaviors similar to those of Nepalese (host nationals)?” Respondents rate the similarity for both host national and co-nationals on a 7-point scale whose end points are labeled not at all (1) and extremely (7).
