شرح روان سنجی: این مقیاس درپی مطالعات "هوور دمپسی و همکارانش 1992" برپایه پیشینه کار- آمدی فرد و کارآمدی معلم "اشتون، وب و دادا 1983، بندورا 1977، 1984، 1986 و دمبو و گیبسون 1985" طراحی شد. که باورهای والدین درباره کارآمدی آنها را برای کمک به فرزند در موفقیت را می سنجد. در سال 2005 و در پی یک رشته از مطالعات به هفت گویه تقلیل یافت.
