شرح سایت روان سنجی: ابزار نقش ساختاری پدر و مادر در پی مطالعات مرتبط با "اداره تحقیقات و بهسازی آموزشی" OREI.‚ Office of Educational Research and Improvement به وجود آمد. این ابزار از دو مقیاس تشکیل شده است. باورهای فعال نقش و ارزش های نقش به مدرسه .
این مقیاس طی سه سال مطالعه مشارکت والدین توسط " هوور- دمپسی و ساندلر 2005" به دست آمده است .پیشتر "هوور-دمپسی، ویلکینز، ساندلر، اوکانر 2004" درباره سازوکار نقش والدین شرح کاملی ارائه کرده اند.
