شرح سایت روان سنجی: تشخیص دمانس نیازمند دانستن توانایی های گذشته فرد است. زیرا بدون بررسی تغییرها، دارنده کاستی شناختی ممکن است به نادرستی به عنوان دارنده دمانس شناسایی شود. .به منظور شناخت یا غربالگری دمانس به کار برده می شود.
نسخه کوتاه این پرسشنامه توسط "زهرا جعفری" با عنوان "پرسشنامه غربالگری نقص شناختی در سالمندان" به فارسی برگردان شده است.
اعتبار: آلفا کرونباخ 0.93 نزد بیماران آلزایمری، 0.95 برای نمونه از جمعیت (جورم، 1989). در هفت مطالعه در دامنه 0.93 – 0.97 (جورم، 2004). بازآزمایی پس از 3 روز 0.96 (جورم، 1989) و پس از یکسال 0.75 (جورم و همکاران، 1991 و جوم و جاکومب، 1989)
