شرح سایت روان سنجی: این مقیاس به گونه پرشمار در پژوهش ها به کار گرفته شده است. بنا به مطالعه برخی یک یا دو منبع حمایت را جایگزین کرده اند. برای آن شش، پنج و چهار خرده مقیاس ذکر شده است. خرده مقیاس های: خویشاوندان، همسر، حمایت های غیر رسمی، برنامه و سایر سازمان ها و خدمات حرفه ای بیشتر گزارش شده است.

اعتبار: هماهنگی درونی، آلفا کرونباخ 0.77 و دو نیمه کردن 0.75برای کل، بازآزمایی پس از یک ماه 0.91 (دانست و همکاران، 1984، 1988). لازم به یادآوری است که در گزارش ها و مطالعات بعدی همواره مقدار آلفا بیش از 0.7 گزارش شده است.
